Taurus salt products are produced from the highest quality, natural rock salt from the world-famous Redmond salt mine in central Utah. This Redmond Real Salt is unique in that it contains a myriad of naturally occurring trace minerals in its composition.
This quality salt has long been popular in cooking for human consumption, having won many awards for taste and health attributes. Taurus is the first company to produce livestock salt block based on this unique naturally occurring salt. Taurus also produces salt and mineral supplements
Taurus Salt has been in business since 1952 producing animal feed supplements. In 2005, Taurus opened a new salt production facility in the small town of Salina, Utah near the natural Redmond salt source. The new products from this facility are or will be available through livestock feed distributors in the United States and Canada.
